Tsuru Kikyo
Top-quality charcoal grilling in Otsu City, in a building which has tradition in its very foundations.
Restaurant Details
Tsuru Kikyo occupies the space of a former 100-year-old kimono store in Otsu City, in which the original essence of the building’s tradition and culture still remains intact. This yakitori restaurant sources its ingredients from the mountains and lakes of Shiga Prefecture, as well as Kyoto vegetables, Tankai chicken, and Omi beef.
All ingredients are cooked on a charcoal grill of the best quality coals, adding a unique aroma to every dish. The lunch menu is exceptionally popular here. At an affordable price, guests can look forward to dishes like brackish grilled chicken, and a variety of seasonal vegetable dishes that highlight the best nature has to offer. Suitable for all occasions and even casual dining, Tsuru Kikyo presents the best Otsu has to offer in charcoal-grilled forms.
