Restaurant Details
In Osaka’s animated Namba area, up to 50 guests can enjoy sharing a meal at Tajimaya, a hotpot specialty venue that offers sukiyaki and shabu shabu “tabehodai” (all-you-can-eat) options.
The restaurant features a yin-yang hot pot that lets guests enjoy two of seven broth choices in one pot. The special sauce bar boasts 15 condiments, opening up endless possibilities for flavor combinations, while the digital-order buffet brings varieties of meat and a bounty of seasonal vegetables, rice, and noodles straight to your table.
The signature sukiyaki broth, warishita, is a blend of soy sauce, mirin and other secret ingredients, delivering a perfect salty-sweet harmony that complements the high-grade wagyu. All the meat is sliced to order, keeping each morsel at the peak of freshness and flavor.
Tajimaya is named after one of Japan’s most successful beef-producing regions, fitting for a beef shabu shabu and sukiyaki specialist. Both the table seats and the sunken tatami seating are designed with relaxed, slow dining in mind. A mobile ordering system keeps ingredients fresh – no sitting out on the counter – and service quick.
