There is no room for error, no risk of compromising on quality at the city-popular Nikusho Geihinkan’s flagship store. The mini-chain — although, granted, the word “chain” hardly captures its commitment to setting the gold standard for yakiniku dining — stands out not by striving to be different but by aiming for excellence. Their hallmark is the highly prized Yamato black beef that grazes the lush pastures of their own ranch, delivered with unmatched quality and care. Known for its tender texture and exquisite marbling, the Yamato black beef (or kuroge wagyu) beef is carefully handled by the in-house butcher who proudly boasts 30 years of experience. It’s safe to say that this yakiniku location caters to meat connoisseurs. Offals are freshly prepped daily and delivered to the kitchen the same day, ensuring peak freshness and flavor. Mouth-watering course menus feature rare cuts and an assortment of pristine offals, served with a choice of spicy, sweet, or light sauce that perfectly complements the rich, flavorful red meat and sweet, marbled fat.
