Restaurant Details
At Mori-meshi, a restaurant in Hakone, you can enjoy the freshest seafood and other local ingredients.
A diverse menu is provided including rice bowls, set meals, and udon noodles. The most popular dish is the ajisai-don. The taste of fresh horse mackerel and other seafood and the crispy texture of vegetables are exquisite. In addition to set meals using local fish and seafood kakiage donburi, there are also a variety of meat dishes such as stamina donburi with Soshu beef and kakuni (simmered) donburi with Sagami Ayase pork.
Mori-meshi also offers a popular oden dish made with local ingredients. Tofu and deep-fried tofu from Toshima Tofu Shop in Miyanoshita, vegetables from Hanamaru Farm in Odawara, and other local ingredients are served in their house-made oden, which features a strong soup stock. It goes well with hot sake, but cold oden and domestic white wine are also recommended in summer.
