Hakushu Suzunoki
What better place to dine in Tottori than at the first restaurant to be awarded a Michelin star?
Restaurant Details
Originally in Kurayoshi City, this famous restaurant in Tottori Prefecture moved to Yonago City in the summer of 2017. Hakushi Suzunoki was the first-ever restaurant to receive a Michelin star in Tottori Prefecture, and since then, the restaurant has been gaining popularity.
Hakushi Suzunoki takes the space that was once a local residence, and its home-like atmosphere still lingers. This restaurant aims to deliver the best of Tottori — from ingredients to hospitality. The chef himself goes out to select the finest ingredients the local markets can offer. Instead of creating new and original dishes, the owner-chef uses his skills to reconstruct existing classic dishes like using their home-made karasumi as a seasoning.
While Hakushu Suzunoki is suitable for a normal day dining, they also provide special course meals for special occasions to add on to the joyous occasion. For anything from a late afternoon gathering with friends in their private tatami rooms to a counter-side anniversary event, this restaurant has got you covered.
