Shusai Kikyoya
The best part of a family-run business is the homemade flavors that come with its dishes, and this restaurant in Yonago exudes that warmth and hospitality.
Restaurant Details
Look no further for a restaurant that lives and breathes Tottori. Shusai Kikyoya is dedicated to only using locally produced ingredients no matter what since 1998. In the form of kaiseki cuisine, local seafood catches as well as local vegetables are meticulously prepared by the head chef to create the delicious and authentic Tottori-style dishes.
As the ingredients available depend on the season, the omakase menu will change from time to time. Not only does this keep it fresh for the regular guests as they experience a completely different course menu, but each seasonal course is also created with what’s best for the weather. Hot comfort foods are served during winter and fried ones in the summer.
Unlike the seasonal dishes, local sake is available all year round. They’re no ordinary sake varieties either — they’re all fully made in Tottori as well! Nothing is overlooked at Shusai Kikyoya, so rest assured you’ll be in safe hands of the family that runs the place.
