Bistro Topology
This restaurant’s devotion to vibrant French cuisine and ingenuity has rightly earned it a Michelin Bib Gourmand award.
Restaurant Details
Meat is king at the stylish French restaurant Bistro Topology in Tokyo. Few restaurants are more particular about their meat than this one: the lamb and duck come from either dedicated suppliers in France, or domestic Japanese farms. Many of their main dishes also center on sausage, including hard-to-find varieties like andouillette and toulouse sausage. Guests can take their pick from their elaborate charcuterie selection of domestic Japanese pork, featuring 20 or more carefully selected cold cuts.
Depending on the time of day — and a diner’s appetite — Bistro Topology offers its Michelin Bib Gourmand-awarded cuisine in the form of short and regular courses as well as an omakase (chef’s choice) course. Its wine list boasts over 40 varieties, and its menu changes every month, keeping curious customers coming back for more.
Its location certainly doesn’t hurt either, being situated on the Meguro River just within walking distance of the picturesque Meguro River Cherry Blossoms Promenade. With its convenient location and cozy, stylish interior, Bistro Topology is an excellent option for couples on a date, or a girls’ night out.
