With a certified cicerone (beer sommelier) as your guide, you’ll expand your palate, trying a variety of Japanese beers and regional dishes during this tasting in Tokyo. Your tasting guide will lead you through a total of 5 Japanese food and beverage pairings. Each Japanese craft beer is carefully chosen by the cicerone, and the pairing also includes local specialties, such as wagyu (domestic Japanese beef), award-winning Japanese cheese, and an Uji matcha dessert, to name just a few.
Not only will you learn about the culture of craft beer and drinking culture in Japan, but you will also learn Japanese table manners. By immersing yourself in this tasting, you’ll experience Japanese culture firsthand, taking part in deeply-rooted Japanese traditions.

Please be at the meeting point between 4:45 and 5:00pm. We will leave on time out of consideration for all guests. Unfortunately you cannot join if we've already left.

Northern Tokyo offers a dynamic mix of residential neighborhoods, traditional and historic areas, and natural beauty. There, you can find Sugamo, a shopping district that’s affectionately referred to as the “Harajuku for old ladies,” where you can buy their iconic red underwear or enjoy some nibbles at their various shops.
