Welcome to this fun and active online gyoza making class, with the only online cooking class teacher who gets you to burn off calories before rewarding you with a hearty meal at the end!
During this online cooking class with Manami-sensei, you’ll make about 20 gyoza dumplings, enough to feed a family. If you can’t find gyoza wrappers at your local grocery store, that’s no problem at all since you’ll be learning to make your own using simple ingredients like flour.
First, you’ll make dough for the gyoza wrappers from flour and water. Then, you’ll get kneading, using not your hands but your feet! As you hop and bop to the tunes of J-pop and anime theme songs, you’ll be simultaneously making the smoothest and softest dough you’ll ever touch!
After working the dough enough, you’ll start making the filling. You’ll use Manami-sensei’s secret recipe that she’s created just for this online cooking class. This recipe can also be changed to accommodate vegans and vegetarians, just select your dietary requirements at checkout.
Then, it’s time to wrap the gyoza. You’ll have a close-up view of Manami-sensei’s pleating technique and can enjoy wrapping them with your family and friends!
Finally, all your hard work will come to fruition when you pan-fry the dumplings to crispy perfection and hear that satisfying crunch along with the burst of juicy, savory filling!
This online cooking class is great for connecting with family and friends. Spend time together even while apart, and enjoy a delicious homemade meal!
