A native English speaking guide will show you the sights of Kagoshima City and will take you to three local bars in two different areas. Soon, you’ll be clinking glasses with locals! Explore the areas of Meizan and Tenmonkan, and start your adventure!
Meizan is a Showa Period-style watering hole which contrasts starkly with the surrounding modern downtown area. For history buffs or those who love all things retro, you'll also go to Meizan on this Kagoshima Bar Hopping Adventure!
Tenmonkan is a hub for nightlife in Kagoshima City and gets especially rowdy during the weekends. Tenmonkan offers a variety of themed bars like a jazz bar, karaoke and anime bar, cat cafe, and more! Kagoshima City also boasts abundant beauty, both natural and manmade. At Senganen Garden, the villa of the Shimadzu Clan that formerly ruled the area, visitors can get a glimpse of the majestic Mt. Sakurajima, a volcanic land mass that juts out of the sapphire waters of Kinko Bay.
