Kyoto’s most unique cooking experience awaits! Immerse yourself in Japanese culture with this hands-on workshop where you’ll learn to make one of Japan’s most beloved dishes—sushi. This once-in-a-lifetime opportunity allows you to create traditional sushi and gain skills you can use at home.
Located in central Kyoto, near the iconic Kiyomizu-dera Temple and the charming Gion district, our elegant workshop is conveniently situated close to many hotels. After exploring these popular sites, you can unwind and learn sushi-making in a peaceful, centrally located setting.
During the class, your English-speaking Japanese instructor will guide you through the process of making perfect sushi rolls. They will provide step-by-step instructions and help you create several types of sushi with ease. By the end of the class, you'll have the confidence to replicate these techniques at home.
You’ll use fresh fish from Kyoto’s Nishi Market, pre-sliced to the ideal size for your sushi creations. After preparing your sushi, enjoy your handmade creations for a delicious lunch!
