Taught by a 91-year-old grandmother who has a lot of experience in Japanese home cooking and preparing special meals for the Japanese tea ceremony. She enjoys sharing her years of culinary expertise and her savoir-faire for Japanese culture.
You will learn how to make ten different dishes with seasonal vegetables and tofu in each dish as well as the sauces and dressings made from soy sauce, miso, vinegar, and other ingredients.
The dishes you prepare will be presented in various ways, like in a bento box, lacquer plate, and bowl, to create a visual presentation for the eyes.
The workshop is interpreted in English (or French) by an experienced assistant who will also present culinary-related information.
After lunch, tea and sweets will be enjoyed over a conversation with the grandmother and other participants.
