Our guide, Russ, was very knowledgeable and, true to his Welsh roots, he entertained us with many fun stories and anecdotes about both the old and new Osaka . Wondering through the streets and side alleys, Russ introduced us to many restaurants, shops, and (yes) even a temple that is also home to a large family of cats. As well, a shout out to Virginia who accompanied us as a guide-in-training. Lots of fun and I highly recommend it to anyone wanting to experience a special part of Osaka!

Great food experience. All the choices Yoshi made, and his recommended extras, were well worth sampling (chicken meatballs can be yummy, who knew?). The info Yoshi shared was interesting, he was easy company, and we had a good night. Easy to recommend this food tour.

It was a great introduction to Ramen making and the process. And even some excellent helpful tips if we’d like to try at home. The food was absolutely delicious and the host so lovely and patient. We would have loved a bit more information around the broth making too! Very good to do with young children and teens.

The Wasabi experience was one of our highlights of our trip and this was even so in the rain. David was accommodating and very informative. The tour offered a unique glimpse into something I had already learned a little bit about, but experiencing it first hand was really something special. Highly recommend this to anyone travelling throughout Japan and is near the area. Thank you David!
