Yoyonam
Yoyonam perfectly blends Parisian aesthetics and a natural wine selection with Vietnamese home cooking for an elevated dining experience like no other.
Restaurant Details
Restaurateur Yamamoto Taro’s longing for Asian food while traveling in France was the impetus for opening the restaurant yoyonam. Stepping into yoyonam, one is liable to forget that they are in Japan, whisked away by the French bistro interior and furniture.
The fare, however, is all classic Vietnamese, featuring main dishes like crispy bánh xèo (crispy crepe stuffed with rice) and Saigon-style spring rolls. The popular dish of vegetable noodles features 14 different varieties drizzled in a simple lemongrass chili oil. No chemical seasonings are used: Chef Uematsu Yoshie guarantees fresh high-quality ingredients every day. Together, he and Chef Yamamoto create a menu rich with flavors, each one perfectly matching with a glass from a curated selection of over 20 white, red, sparkling, and rosé wines.
Yoyonam is in a prime location next to Tokyo’s Yoyogi Park. Along with indoor seating and private rooms on the second floor, yoyonam also offers outdoor terrace and deck seating.
