Akasaka's sleekness might not hint at casual dining, but Tasuki Akasaka offers an escape with top-notch yakiniku, affordable wagyu and fresh offal.

Restaurant Details

Step off the polished streets of Akasaka, where upscale bistros and luxury hotels reign supreme and the Akasaka Biz Tower lies one block away, and into the warm brick walls of Yakiniku Horumon Tasuki Akasaka for a casual meat-centric dinner in the evening.

Led by a founder who trained at another yakiniku restaurant, Tasuki Akasaka’s dedication to yakiniku shines in every bite. They carefully source their meat ensuring quality from farm to table, with daily specials featuring rare cuts like zabuton — a prime coming from the chuck area of the cow. But this isn't just for wagyu purists — offal lovers will be in paradise with their extensive menu featuring everything from the classic beef stripes and tripe to the more adventurous omasum sashimi (tripe stomach) and pork cartilage. Each cut is prepared with the utmost respect for its unique flavor and texture.

Tasuki Akasaka also offers a bounty of course menu options to savor the full breadth of its offerings – think sizzling grilled dishes, Korean-style cholegi-salad, perfect accompaniments like kimchi and namul, as well as the highly respected kuroge wagyu. To elevate meals even further, the yakiniku restaurant features an all-you-can-drink option with classic highballs and refreshing sours, and a selection of unique Korean drinks such as makgeolli and the Chamisul soju to complement any meal.
