Veg Out is a vegan cafe that promotes a healthy lifestyle in which beauty starts from the inside. All the dishes at Veg Out are free from additives and preservatives and don’t contain any animal products, and all the ingredients are organic and made by natural farming.


One of the signature menu items is the Veg Out Plate, which will be served in Obanzai style. The plate has several kinds of colorful dishes that use fresh and organic locally-grown vegetables and grains. You can choose from rice or bread. They also have a taco rice plate, tomato coconut curry, and a buddha bowl.They are gluten-free, use lots of organic vegetables.


The hand-drip coffee is their specialty, and the beans are from a home-roasted coffee shop called “WEEKENDERS COFFEE.” Alcoholic drinks are also available. They have organic red/white wine, craft beer, draft beer, and Kyoto sake. Take out is also available. It’s located a 2-minute walk from Shichijo Station, or a 10-minute walk from Kyoto station.
