Restaurant Details

Usukifugu Yoshinoya is one of the more notable restaurants for serving blowfish. There aren't many restaurants that are allowed to offer it due to the poisonous nature of parts of the fish, but this fugu specialty restaurant has earned its license.

Located near Takajo Station in Oita, Usukifugu Yoshinoya is one of the best fugu restaurants in town, and arguably one of the best seafood restaurants too. Directly getting their ingredients from the rough currents of the Seto Inland Sea and the Pacific Ocean — known to have fresh and delicious seafood — this restaurant guarantees only the finest ingredients are used.

Offered in a traditional Japanese multi-course dinner known as kaiseki, Usukifugu Yoshinoya serves perfectly complementing small dishes that include meat, soup, and vegetables to build up to the main dish: fugu pufferfish.
