Shirokane Chez Tomo Natural Cuisine
An open, airy space where the shadows of leaves dance on terrace tables, and the organic-focused menu makes vegetables the star.
Restaurant Details
Breezy evenings are made more special with the view of trees from Chez Tomo’s contemporary, light space. A paradise during warmer months, a connection with nature can be felt inside even when the leaves have fallen. Taking the phrase “down to earth” literally, Owner-chef Ichikawa highlights the humble in his own unique way.
Chez Tomo’s signature dishes are its uni (sea urchin) and vegetable appetizers. The uni dish creates an appealing and approachable version of one of the best luxury ingredients in Japan, while an artful array of bite-sized vegetables, precisely laid out in a five-by-five grid, elevates the products of Yamanashi Prefecture's organic farms to fine dining. Homemade organic bread opens each course, served with specially selected salt and organic olive oil.
Chez Tomo earns its stripes with a fresh look at French cuisine, partnered with easy style and a compelling wine list, all offered with care in Tokyo’s upscale district of Shirokane.
