Witness masters at work at this shrine to outstanding sushi in Ginza, which held two Michelin stars for 15 years.

Restaurant Details

This intimate Ginza establishment has enjoyed prestigious status since 2008, when it was first awarded the Michelin stars which it has retained every year since — no small feat in the competitive world of elite sushi restaurants.

The owners are a husband and wife team, who prepare all of their food without help from any assistants. The atmosphere is quiet and respectful, with all focus directed towards their expert craftsmanship and delicious food.

Using traditional techniques, they prepare classic sushi dishes to the highest standard. Rice vinegar and lightly fermented fish make for flavor-packed combinations, and their maguro is famed as some of the best quality of its kind in the world.

The set menu is prepared according to the time of day, meaning that dishes are not individually chosen. However, the chefs will accommodate any allergy requirements mentioned at the time of booking.
