At Pekin Yuzen, they don’t mess about when it comes to authenticity. Come to enjoy some of the best Chinese food in the whole of Tokyo.

Restaurant Details

Nestling in the quiet residential area of Ogikubo, this Chinese restaurant has been somewhat overlooked by the masses — probably due to its discreet location, but the queue in front of the store is filled with in-the-know locals who have heard that Pekin Yuzen offers fine dining on the most authentic Chinese cuisine that one can encounter in Tokyo.

The small space of the interior is no issue, especially when Pekin Yuzen has the best Peking duck and chili shrimp dishes around. The bill at the end might climb to a high number, but rest assured it's worth every penny for such quality Chinese food. It's recommended to make a reservation at least a day before (if you're lucky that there are any slots left), especially when planning to dine in a group.
