OTTO SETTE
Inhale fresh air while enjoying Italian dishes using the best that Yatsugatake has to offer.
Restaurant Details
OTTO SETTE is the epitome of traditional Italian cuisine with a pinch of modern esprit. Located right in front of the Yatsugatake forest, customers are able to dine on fine meals while taking in the views of nature. The name of the restaurant — OTTO refers to the number 8 and SETTE refers to the number 7 — is a nod towards the eight main peaks of the Yatsugatake mountains and the seven experts who provide ingredients for the restaurant.
Ingredients are exclusively harvested from Yatsugatake, including colorful seasonal vegetables, putting the focus on the freshness and natural flavor of these limited ingredients.
On top of focusing on creating consistently high-quality dishes, OTTO SETTE also prioritizes wine pairings for their course meals. There is even a special course called “Vino e Verdura” that pairs every dish with a glass.
It's no secret that nature is the main source of inspiration for OTTO SETTE. The respect and appreciation for the earthly products are considerably depicted in the carefully prepared dishes. Each serving is unique, using ingredients from Yatsugatake which give the meals a real sense of place, rooted in this beautiful natural landscape.
