At NIIHARA, a vegetarian and vegan-friendly restaurant in Fukuoka, their shojin ryori-style cuisine uses mainly vegetables, whose inherent flavors are brought out by natural seasonings such as kelp and other plant-based ingredients. All the dishes and sweets are free from white sugar. NIIHARA also serves vegan and vegetarian dishes, so feel free to ask!
For lunch, they have the NIIHARA set (1050 yen) which comes with appetizers, soup, rice, and miso soup. You can choose the main dish from various kinds of options. The kind of rice varies from day to day such as white rice, brown rice, multigrain rice. For dessert, they have a mini parfait with amazake and nama-fu ice cream. This dessert has the perfect kind of natural sweetness that makes you feel refreshed after a meal.
On Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday, they will serve a happy sunset meal from 17:30 to 19:30. The course meal is called “kimagure-gohan set” with drinks and dessert (1700 yen).
