Les Saisons
Decadence and elegance are in equal measure at the Imperial Hotel’s fantastic French bistro.
Restaurant Details
If classic European elegance is what you’re looking for, you can do no better than a meal at Les Saisons. Housed inside Tokyo’s Imperial Hotel, stepping into the dining room of this restaurant feels like being transported to a stately home in France.
The food on offer includes a wide range of French classics, presented with real panache and some local spins through the use of ingredients unique to Japan. The chef, Thierry Voisin, studied at one of the Champagne region’s top restaurants, Boyer Les Crayeres, before taking over the kitchen here in 2005.
The signature dish at Les Saisons is borrowed from his old mentor; a pie pastry, with a whole truffle inside which is topped with foie gras. Even for seasoned fans of French luxury dining, this dish will raise the bar.
