Le Coq
A Michelin-recommended French restaurant in Ebisu which presents authentic, classic dishes and a great range of wines.
Restaurant Details
Experience and credentials matter in the ultra competitive world of high-end gastronomy. The owner-chef at Le Coq is covered on both counts, having studied under the tutelage of the great Joël Robuchon, whose monumental Ebisu branch is nearby.
His own approach to cooking focuses on faithfully representing French cuisine by executing the basics brilliantly. This means classics like beef steak with red wine, smoked salmon, and chicken liver mousse with port. These can be ordered a la carte, or as part of set course meals.
Around 80 French wines are also available to pair with the dishes, sourced from some of the best producers around the country.
