Lature
Enjoy a Michelin-starred wild game feast that won’t wreck your bank balance.
Restaurant Details
Reverence towards nature and thankfulness for each ingredient. These are the two tenets that underpin the menu at this wild game restaurant in Shibuya, which marries traditional French cooking with Japanese sensibilities, and a touch of the avant-garde.
To honor both local Japanese traditions and the French spirit which flows through the dishes, game from both countries is used. Expect delicious rabbit, fowl, wild boar, and other meats that come and go from the menu as the seasons change.
Outstanding wild game pies are perhaps the centerpiece of the experience, however it’s hard to choose a favorite dish when also faced with rabbit stuffed with foie gras, outstanding stewed meats, and a savory macaron made with deer blood.
Counter seats are available for those who wish to watch the Michelin-starred master at work, with table seats and private rooms to accommodate those who require a little more privacy.
