Accessible French haute cuisine, with an admirable commitment to sustainability, in downtown Tokyo.

Restaurant Details

This Nihonbashi restaurant is the casual dining counterpart to L’Effervescence, the 2 Michelin star French restaurant which is among the best of its kind in Asia.

At La Bonne Table, guests can enjoy the same great quality cooking in a more relaxed and accessible atmosphere. A choice of set course menus are available for lunch and dinner, with English support available for those who aren’t so fluent in Japanese.

All of their ingredients are sourced from small-time producers with a focus on sustainability. These are transformed into dishes such as a white onion and bacon potage, roast guinea fowl, charcoal-grilled gnocchi, and an individual pie with beef in red wine sauce, lotus root, potato, and chrysanthemum — an outstanding fusion of a French classic with organic Japanese ingredients.
