Kochouan Senba
Grab a bowl of soba, handmade and rich in flavor, said to be the best in town.
Restaurant Details
Set in a traditional restaurant with tatami seating and sliding doors, Kochouan Senba graces Gifu with its delicious soba. The noodles used for their dishes are handmade, resulting in the perfectly imperfect textures that add a little bit more uniqueness to the meal.
Despite its slightly inconvenient location in a quiet residential area, the early birds wait patiently before the store's opening time for their soba fix. Regardless of whether it's the standard soba or zaru soba (cold noodles), the aroma of the soup is extremely fragrant. Tempura is recommended to go with the soba, but all other toppings and appetizers are just as tasty at Kochouan Senba.
