Kobe Steak Teppanyaki Setsugekka Hanare
With the highest quality on offer, this teppanyaki establishment based in Kobe lives up to the well-earned Michelin status of its flagship store.
Restaurant Details
Setsugekka Hanare, the second branch of the Michelin-starred Setsugekka, upholds the same uncompromising standards in every aspect of its dining experience.
An open-space layout, in-house aquarium tank and breathtaking views of Kobe create a chic and stylish atmosphere that’s perfect for celebrating a special occasion. Across the large teppanyaki grill, exclusive 25 seats ensure a calm and private atmosphere for guests to relax, enjoy and unwind in.
Perhaps the best beef in Kobe is served here, with dedicated professionals working hard to ensure that only the highest quality cuts are selected. 30-month-old cows are butchered and aged for a long term to remove excess moisture and draw out its amino acids. This, in turn, softens the beef fat and lowers its melting point so the meat quickly becomes warm even when served rare. The fine marbling and soft texture of the meat itself are proof that this fine dining establishment truly earned its Michelin status. Even the garlic rice, a classic on the teppanyaki menu, is described to be “one of the best in Sannomiya.”
The menu offers something for everyone, with dishes like spiny lobster, abalone, foie gras and organic vegetables prepared right before your eyes by an expert chef. Guests can enjoy the teppanyaki experience while sipping sommelier-selected wines that perfectly complement each dish. Every item, from appetizers to desserts, is crafted with fresh, high-quality ingredients to achieve a perfect balance of flavors.
