Authentic Tokyo-style sushi in Nihonbashi, from a third generation chef who offers an amazing lunch course meal deal.

Restaurant Details

Located in Nihonbashi, a historic downtown area which is still bustling today, this traditional Meiji era style building houses one of the best sushi restaurants in central Tokyo. Kizushi has been running since 1924, and to this day it maintains its commitment to true, authentic Edomae sushi.

The third generation owner-chef Ryuichi Yui serves up omakase meals with a series of around ten nigiri, as well as even more extensive luxury meals. The lunch menu is one of the city’s best kept gourmet secrets, with 10 nigiri and assorted small dishes for south of 5,000 yen!

This doesn’t mean skimping on quality — quite the opposite. This will be clear from the moment the very first piece of fresh sushi is served up, with expert, deep cuts along the flesh, making the pieces fall apart beautifully.
