Restaurant Details

Located in one of the most prominent downtown areas of Nagasaki, just five minutes’ walk from Shianbashi, is this traditional restaurant that fully delivers the classic kaiseki experience. Tons of locals and tourists alike are dying to experience the cuisine of Itamaeryori Doyama after its appearance in the drama Grand Maison Tokyo.

The chef-owner is extremely particular about the local authenticity of his dishes — everything has to be from Nagasaki Prefecture. The course menu changes based on the season and so do the techniques. Don’t miss out on the signature dish that’s included all year round: beef fillet cooked in a soy sauce-based broth. This beef dish has gotten tons of positive reviews and is one of the most popular at Itamaeryori Doyama.
