Restaurant Details

If a restaurant has been featured on national TV, that has to be a sign that they're worth trying, even just out of curiosity. Those that dropped by Sakebo-Esho Echigoya in Saitama after the broadcast have not regretted the decision because they have discovered one the best eel specialty restaurants in all of Japan.

Some restaurants offer only one style of unagi preparation, while at Sakebo-Esho Echigoya they offer both Kanto-style and Kansai-style. The chef will let the customers choose their desired method and prepare it accordingly. The unagi rice bowl is definitely a staple to try here.

Serving just the same quality of eel as more upscale unagi dishes, Sakebo-Esho Echigoya's eel dishes are definitely great value for money.
