Restaurant Details
Chinese Noodle Yotsuba is not your average ramen-ya. Word about this experimental Saitama shop (reachable in under 90 minutes from Shinjuku) spread like wildfire after it opened, with a crowd regularly gathering outside even before opening time — not unusual for a noodle shop of this high caliber.
Most opt for their signature bowl of soba, the best-selling dish of them all. The maze soba is a slight twist on the norm, with thick noodles that are almost like udon. Try seasonal dishes using unorthodox ingredients like clam, and even sushi! There’s always an intriguing factor to every dish at Yotsuba — expect well-calibrated soups and pleasant surprises with every bite and slurp.
