Peking duck, dim sum and premium kuroge wagyu steaks — it’s an all-or-nothing feast at this striking Ginza steakhouse.

Restaurant Details

Located across the upscale Ginza Matsuya, Blue Lily Steak House & Chinese Restaurant captivates the city with its dynamic East-meets-West fusion. Step through the mosaic-glass-framed entrance, and diners will notice the expansive dining space, so grand that it can 200 guests at a time. White-clothed tables seem to stretch further back, while blue velvet stools line the bar on the other side of the restaurant.

A look around the restaurant confirms the eclectic blend of cuisine. The neighboring tables might have steaming pork shumai beside plates from perfectly grilled steaks like kuroge wagyu (Japanese black cattle), Kobe beef and premium Matsusaka beef — arguably sitting among the crowd's favorites. Servers weave through the room bearing trays of Peking duck, shark fin soup and prime Kobe beef steaks. In the kitchen, a dedicated dim sum chef crafts classics like leek pancakes, radish cakes and har gow, alongside more innovative renditions like the black gyoza.

When the server approaches, make sure to take note of the chef’s personal recommendation: the kuroge wagyu steak, a premium cut from the Japanese black cattle. Come here when you want both upscale Chinese dining and delicious steak for a memorable meal or an exciting culinary night.
