Teleport to provincial France, at a restaurant founded by one of California’s finest wineries.

Restaurant Details

Relatively new on the world wine scene, Azur has risen to become of the biggest wineries in Napa Valley. This French restaurant in Tokyo is a result of their collaboration with one of Japan’s finest chefs of French cuisine, Masahito Ueki.

Under the brand of the winery, they provide some of the best French food that Japan has to offer, delivering Western forms infused with Japanese essence and ingredients. The 11 dishes in their set-course menu cover all of the five tastes.

Their interior is inspired by restaurants and inns in Provence, France, giving it a warm and comfortable atmosphere with plenty of class. A native streak is added through the use of plates, cutlery, and glasses which are all made through traditional Japanese crafts.

Japan is also represented in each of the dishes through the ingredients used. The chef hails from Noto in Kanazawa, and you can expect to enjoy the best of the ingredients which that area has to offer — Ueki-san’s own little homage to the town which raised him.
