The restaurant’s impeccable design is anchored by checkered tiles, white-linen-covered tables, dark wood and rustic farm-themed antiques. Rows of sleek wine glasses and Dutch ovens on the exposed cabinet, alongside hanging copper pans, evoke the sense of a well-oiled, ever-active kitchen.
Chef Yaoki Tsujimura draws from his training in southern France during the 90s to craft contemporary French cooking with a masterful touch. He prefers butter as the cooking fat, and ensures the dish is enriched with deep, flavorful sauces. Plates of veal steak, sauteed scallops with creamy cauliflower sauce and sea bass atop a potato puree garnished with black truffle slices are beautifully — but never excessively — plated.
