La Terrasse Irisee
Blending 20 years of French culinary training with a sustainably-minded menu, Chef Susumu Sasaki woos guest with his Michelin recognized dining-experience.
Restaurant Details
Meaning “iridescent terrace” in French, La Terrasse Irisee marries Chef Susumu Sasaki’s formal training in Switzerland and France with his Japanese upbringing and love of locally grown produce and raised meats.
Away from the hustle and bustle of the city, this intimate space evokes a sense of exclusivity, seating only nine groups. Guests can enjoy a seasonal course menu while taking in the painting-like view of Ayameike Pond and sipping on a curated French champagne and wine menu.
Earning a Michelin Guide star for three years in a row, each course is masterfully crafted to balance the nuanced flavors and create a feast for the eyes. Courses include upwards of eight dishes including sustainably grown greens, bite-sized amuse-bouche, and mains of French squab, Tottori wagyu olein 55 loin and Yamato pork. Fresh fish of the day hails from Sakaiminato Market in Tottori Prefecture. Each course is complete with sweet petit fours, routing desserts and an after-meal drink.
