Experience Details
Japanese geisha are professional female entertainers specializing in the country’s traditional cultural arts, including playing musical instruments, dancing, and entertaining. In the past, geisha entertainment was highly exclusive, but now you can enjoy this unique part of Japanese culture over a delicious kaiseki meal. With a limit of three groups per day, Chef Fumio Sawase carefully crafts a customized kaiseki menu for each group.
Learn about the mysterious world of geisha while enjoying the meticulously prepared seasonal dishes featured in Japanese kaiseki. The geisha will perform during the dinner, and you’ll have a chance to play games with them after! The geisha are fantastic entertainers and are happy to answer any questions you may have about their profession.
The dinner is hosted at a luxurious restaurant with a long history. The building was designed in a traditional Japanese architectural style called "Gassho-zukuri," and is over 260 years old. The building is originally from Gifu prefecture; the interior is a stunning example of traditional Japanese architecture. You’ll feel the history and culture of Japan inside this venue.
