Your host, Ayumi, will guide you in this home cooking class at her cozy, Japanese-style apartment in a residential area of Kobe. First, Ayumi will introduce the ingredients and the flow of the class before guiding you step-by-step in making your delectable sushi meal. You’ll prepare sushi rice using a clay pot to preserve the moisture and freshness, then learn how to slice sashimi and prepare a Japanese-style tamagoyaki omelet to fill your sushi rolls.
You’ll complement your meal with a steamy bowl of miso soup, which you’ll prepare by making dashi broth made from scratch. Once your rolls are assembled and your meal is complete, you’ll enjoy it with your host. You’ll receive a cute pair of wooden chopsticks inside a holder made of origami paper with mizuhiki decorations as a souvenir.
