After getting on the bus at Fukuoka and taking a 10-minute ferry ride to Nokonoshima Island, your first stop will be the wide expanse of Nokonoshima Island Park. Stroll through the park, try 9-hole "Nokonoko" golf (an original sport from the area) or relax while basking in the pristine views of the flowers, trees, blue seas and the enchanting city skyline. You can opt to explore an old village area with pottery and a nostalgic toy store and shop for traditional arts and crafts. Whatever you do, make sure you work up an appetite for what's next!
For lunch, you'll enjoy a Nokonoshima classic "sumibiaki" BBQ with wagyu beef, delicious vegetables, and a cold soft drink. Before heading back, enjoy a refreshing ice cream and explore some more or simply relax at one of the benches. Lastly, you'll stop by a souvenir shop before you hop on the bus, a ferry and then another bus from the ferry terminal to return comfortably to the drop-off point in Hakata.
