Experience Details

Explore Nara with a bilingual guide by your side! Although Nara is most renowned for its bowing deer, sacred Todaiji Temple, and the colossal Great Buddha, there are plenty of other treasures to be found in this ancient city. What awaits you on this whirlwind tour? A specialty sushi tasting, sake tasting at Harushika Sake Distillery, ice cold beers at Naramachi Microbrewery, authentic Japanese food at a local restaurant, and lightning-fast mochi pounding at Nakatanidou (you may have seen this legend on social media).

Nara, planted firmly in the Kansai region, is a testament to the country's history and cultural heritage. As one of Japan's oldest capitals, Nara is graced with ancient temples, serene gardens, and friendly deer that roam its tranquil parks. Beyond its historical treasures, Nara offers a vibrant culinary scene where traditional flavors and modern gastronomy converge, the stars you’ll experience during this tour!
