Often it can be troublesome trying to find vegan food in Japan due to language barriers and hidden elements of dishes that might contain animal products. Save yourself some time and energy while learning new cooking skills, and join this fun Nagoya Vegan Sushi Class to enjoy a Japanese foodie experience that’s totally vegan! You can learn tips and tricks about plant-based food in Japan.
During this private cooking class, you’ll make Nagoya vegan sushi in an authentic Japanese home in a local neighborhood to the north of Nagoya City, only about 20 minutes by train from Nagoya Station. You’ll learn how to make inari sushi from sweet tofu skins, tomato and okra gunkan sushi (“battleship” style sushi), as well as tofu and black mushroom sushi flavored with kelp! Of course, you’ll learn how to make the perfect sushi rice, too, as well as miso soup to have on the side, made with a vegan dashi soup stock. After the sushi making class, you’ll enjoy eating your delicious vegan sushi!

The meeting point is at JR Kasugai Station, a 20-minute train ride from Nagoya Station via the Chuo Line. The cooking studio is located in Kasugai, Nagoya. Detailed instructions will be shared upon booking.
