Discover the charm of Sera in Hiroshima Prefecture with this immersive 8-hour tour, perfect for those seeking a unique blend of nature, culture, and local flavors. Begin your journey at 8 am from Hiroshima Station, and enjoy a scenic 90-minute drive through shifting cityscapes and stunning mountain ranges.


Starting at the beautiful Sera Kogen Farm, you'll be greeted by a vibrant array of seasonal flowers in the serene Sera Highlands. This picturesque farm offers an ideal introduction to the region’s natural beauty.

Experience a peaceful zazen meditation session at Shuzenin Temple. Here, you’ll practice the art of meditating in a tranquil setting, followed by a matcha tea and traditional Japanese sweets tasting in front of a beautifully arranged landscape garden.


Lunchtime brings you to Serahonten, a local favorite known for its delicious and fresh tofu dishes. Afterward, enjoy some leisurely shopping at Hattendo Village’s ORCHARD, a new souvenir shop near Hiroshima Airport selling seasonal treats and delicacies. This spot is famous for its gourmet food items, including the popular cream buns.


You'll be accompanied by a knowledgeable Hiroshima Prefecture Regional Guide-Interpreter, ensuring a deeper understanding of the area’s history and culture. The tour concludes with a ride back to Hiroshima Station.


Sample schedule:

08:00 am - Begin the tour with a 90-minute chartered ride from Hiroshima Station

09:30 am - Arrive at Sera Kogen Farm

10:45 am - Zen meditation experience at Shuzenin Temple

01:00 pm - Local Tofu lunch at Serahonten

02:30 pm - Shop for seasonal gifts at Hattendo Village’s ORCHARD

04:00 pm - Return to Hiroshima Station



Note: In case of bad weather, guests will be taken to a nearby sightseeing spot instead of Sera Kogen Farm.

Meeting Point and Meeting Time

  • Your host will be waiting in a blue car at the taxi stand in front of Hiroshima Station's North Exit and the Hotel Granvia Hiroshima. Please arrive at least 10 minutes before the start time; late arrivals will not be permitted. Further details and a Google Maps link will be provided upon booking.

  • Please arrive at the meeting spot 10 minutes before the tour starts: if you are late, you may not be able to join the tour

  • This is a private tour and is planned based on the use of chartered vehicles, cancellation fees will apply if you cancel your reserved spot
