Immerse yourself in the meditative atmosphere of Chuzenji Temple, a sanctuary dating back to 784 near the serene waters of Lake Chuzenji. Here, you will follow the monks' ancient practice of writing meditation by copying sutra or key Buddhist imagery to bring wellness and fortune. Then, witness an engaging fire ritual, where rhythmic chanting and the leaping flames of holy cedar will transport you to an otherworldly scene.
