We had such a good time! Akito is very knowledgeable and passionate about the tea making process. The sights are beautiful and Akito made us feel welcome. Would recommend this for anyone interested in tea.

Our tea tour with Akito was so wonderful! We stopped in Shizuoka on our way to Kyoto. Akito picked us up from the station and took us for a short drive into the mountains, through bamboo forests and mandarin groves, to the tea farm. The views were absolutely stunning, and the farm was very peaceful after the city. Akito had extremely good English and was very knowledgeable and passionate about tea. We learned a lot despite being big tea fans already! The weather was lovely, so we drank tea on the farm, and even though the factory wasn’t operating, we still got to see inside! Would highly recommend this experience!!

We had a lovely time on our tour of the tea farm. Akito was very knowledgeable. We enjoyed learning about the tea farming practices, tasting different types of tea, and touring the factory. The beautiful drive up to the tea farm and the stunning views of the surrounding mountains was definitely a highlight.

Thank you for a memorable and relaxing experience! Akito, who came from a long line of tea farmers, made the whole thing feel so personal and authentic. Walking through the beautiful tea fields, learning how the leaves are grown and processed, and interesting tea facts gave me a whole new appreciation for tea. Akito let us try different types of tea and even taught us what gives tea its umami, astringency, sweetness and bitterness. I left with some amazing tea and a newfound respect for the craft. So glad I did the tour!
