Restaurant Details
Not every restaurant can boast to have an Iron Chef at its helm.
XEX ATAGO GREEN HILLS isn’t headed by just any Iron Chef, either. Its executive advisor is none other than acclaimed restaurateur Masaharu Morimoto, the legendary Michelin-starred trailblazer of Japanese fusion cuisine and winner of almost 50 battles during his tenure as Japan’s Iron Chef. Chef Morimoto has founded over 20 restaurants in gourmet capitals all over the world, from Manhattan and Doha to San Jose and Waikiki.
It naturally follows that a restaurant with someone as industrious as Chef Morimoto at the helm would have access to the best ingredients. Sure enough, XEX ATAGO GREEN HILLS is privy to only the finest from Toyosu Fish Market, with its seafood coming from the Yamaharu Group, a supplier with over 50 years of experience in the fishery business.
Its tuna, in particular, is exclusively supplied by maguro wholesaler Hicho, a group practically synonymous with the fish itself in Japanese culinary circles. Under Chef Morimoto’s direction, the restaurant’s expert chefs carefully assemble these ingredients into a beautiful showcase of commitment to traditional Japanese culinary principles.
In one of the restaurant’s many private rooms or at its new tempura counter, guests can indulge themselves in anything from the restaurant’s titular sushi and tempura selections, to even sukiyaki, shabu-shabu and seasonal nabe hotpots. The unparalleled view of the Tokyo night skyline is just as delicious as the food.
