Tofu Cuisine Sorano Shibuya
Delicious multi-course tofu dining in Shibuya, at a modern restaurant that’s famous among local gourmets — you’ve never tried tofu this good.
Restaurant Details
Discover the sheer breadth and versatility of tofu — from the silky smooth unpressed variety, to firmer blocks and sweet skin. All of these varieties are used at Tofu Cuisine Sorano to create a multi-course meal using a range of cooking techniques.
The restaurant has become quite famous recently for its exquisite celebration of this healthy ingredient. Theirs are even more healthy than standard varieties, with no additives of coagulants used — just an all-natural production process using premium Tokachi beans from Hokkaido.
Expect inventive dishes featuring tofu as the central ingredient, with some chicken dishes too. This of course means that vegetarian diners should mention their preference at the time of booking so as to receive an all-vegetarian meal.
One of the most surprising things on offer are the tofu sweets. Not only is it a great portion source for savory dishes, tofu also makes some delectable desserts that you’ll be craving for months after.
The space is modern and classy, with a mezzanine floor and a good level of privacy for each table.
