Restaurant Details

THE CITY BAKERY is a popular bakeshop with locations across Japan where the Japanese staff work together to create authentic American-style baked goods that the founder, Maury Rubin, would be proud of.

Tracing back their history, THE CITY BAKERY is a long-established bakery that has been loved by New Yorkers and international visitors alike since it opened in Union Square, New York in the year 1990. With the celebration of its 20th anniversary in 2010, THE CITY BAKERY (Grand Front Osaka) is the first overseas store, which opened in April 2013.

Currently, the cafe offers a wide variety of appetizers and hot dishes that use an abundance of fresh vegetables and seafood from Japan. They also offer meat dishes made from carefully selected ingredients to maximize the taste of the ingredients and express the food culture of New York, which has been inspired by a mix of various cultures.
