Shunseki Suzue
Relax and dine in the sophisticated ambiance of one of Kyoto's most expensive restaurants.
Restaurant Details
By the banks of a beautiful canal, an ideal spot for a calming walk, one of Kyoto's most expensive restaurants can be found down a quaint little alleyway. Chef Shunseki Suzue displays the highest level of cooking skills in his omakase (chef’s choice) menu, manning the stove and preparing the dishes for the guests without any assistance.
The shy personality of this greatly skilled chef disappears as soon as he is in his element, whipping up mind blowing dishes that show an impressive level of imagination. His dishes can easily rival top sushi restaurants with top sashimi and onigiri, and dishes like unagi mixed with junsai and braised black lip. Shunseki Suzue is an all-in-one dining spot suitable for all casual and formal occasions.
