Omae
Modern kaiseki dining which faithfully represents the craft, with premium meat, vegetables, and a top chef to bring them together.
Restaurant Details
The calligraphy on the wall outlines the restaurant’s ethos — using the knowledge of the past to create dishes for the present. With that lofty slogan setting the tone, the chef creates kaiseki meals which draw heavily upon tradition, while adjusting for the tastes of modern diners. Customers at this Michelin-starred restaurant can enjoy one of three set-menu choices to suit their budget.
Each includes premium vegetables from Kyoto, fresh regional seafood, and wagyu beef sourced from Miyazaki. The chef trained in Kyoto to be able to weave these high-grade ingredients into an equally high-quality kaiseki meal.
Feel free to tell him about your preferences and he will adjust the meal accordingly. He has experience with the friendly and personable kappo style of dining too, meaning that you’ll enjoy a casual and fun evening if you’re lucky enough to land a spot at his Michelin-starred counter.
