Restaurant Details

A refined izakaya takes up space on the ground floor of a small house in a residential area in Osaka. A mix of traditional and modern is the essence of Nagahori Izakaya. Chef-owner Shigeo Nakamura sources ingredients himself and constantly goes through trial-and-error processes to refine his dishes.

What differentiates this restaurant from the rest is the chef's dedication to forging bonds and making connections with everyone involved and associated with the restaurant. Nakamura's passion to bring people together and pass down knowledge to the next generation is reflected in his service, and his willingness to share his knowledge with curious diners.

Nagahori Izakaya's omakase course includes marinated eggplant, a selection of seven sashimi, crab croquette, shabu shabu, and much more. From beginning to end, Nakamura will introduce and explain the ingredients and techniques used, as well as inquiring beforehand if there are any special requests you have.

Exquisite food, a comfortable setting, and quality service is the winning trifecta for an outstanding restaurant experience, and Nagahori Izakaya has it all.
